Shoulder Tribal Celtic Hybrid Tattoo

2.5 Hrs

This is a round shape on a sphere (shoulder ball), very difficult to pull off.

Preparation, preparation, preparation and experience and a dash of skill.

I have developed a technique to render a 3 dimensional body into 2 dimensions ie height width, then design for that shape,I then create a stencil which will be applied back to a three dimensional body. The stencil looks crazy off, until you reapply back to the original body shape. After minor tweaking, the impossible is possible. Make sense?

Thank you for your comments and inquiry.

I think I can understand =) Thanks for explaining! Still sounds like it is very complicated, but I'm sure a lot of practice helps too ;P

I have heard many tattoo artist over the years claim that symmetrical circular designs, on the ball of the shoulder are not possible, to apply with accuracy. The technique I have been using is challenging, but I have it down to science now, so I can make the impossible, possible. It took a lot of trial and error, but voila...
